Why should you vote for me?

I want to represent MN House District 42A because:

As an engineer, I know how to find practical solutions to problems. Complex problems require understanding constraints, focusing on outcomes, and balancing competing factors. I've worked in industry and academia, so I understand issues from multiple perspectives. I have the technical knowledge to understand issues about energy, environmental hazards, and climate change. I understand the time value of money, and know that every decision to spend money or use resources is also a decision not to use them for other priorities.

The legislature needs people who will stand up for what's right without concern for future political aspirations. I have a strong commitment to public education at all levels, and to working for human rights. I will listen to the concerns of the people I represent in the entire district. I have experience presenting to groups of all sizes, so I will articulate those concerns to legislative committees and on the House floor. I have experience in many organizations. I'll learn how to operate in the legislature quickly so I can represent you effectively.
